Profile: Mr. Albertson is a Senior Writer for LushForLife.com, as well as Head Photographer. He was born and raised in New Orleans, and spent his summers in rural Florida, where he met future LushForLife.com colleague Egbert Sousé. After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism at New York University, he went on to study photography at Parsons University in New York. His first job was writing for a local newspaper in Montego Bay, Cuba, covering underground cock fights. Mr. Albertson later went on to write for The San Juan Tribune, where he was also Chief Photographer, then transferring back to his hometown and working for The New Orleans Times-Picayune, where he was the Head Sports Columnist, and met future colleague James Avalon. He currently lives in Tampa, Florida, where he works for LushForLife.com, and spends his off time between his studio apartment in New York City and his cabin in the Everglades, where he poaches alligators onboard his full-sized airboat and distills his own bourbon whiskey in his backyard swamp.
